Update: We just earned a 2024 Platinum Seal with Candid!

In November, EOS earned a Candid Gold Seal of Transparency from Guidestar, a label that denotes a high level of transparency and trustworthiness in a nonprofit organization.

Just two months later, we are now proud owners of a Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency, which is the highest status awarded to nonprofits. We are among the 12% of organizations listed with Guidestar who have achieved this status.

Our Resource Development team made this happen by submitting comprehensive information on our organization’s strategy, goals, financials and other quantitative metrics to Guidestar. Check out our updated organizational profile here.

“We are thrilled to have been awarded the Platinum Seal of Transparency,” said Christi Wilkins, Vice President of Resource Development. “This status is a reflection of our team’s diligent work over the past few months in ensuring that our organization is as transparent, credible, and accountable to our stakeholders as we can be.

“This seal sends the message that a donation to EOS is a strong and reliable investment in the future of our country’s students,” she said.

While we celebrate this achievement today, we also affirm our commitment to being as credible and reliable as possible, so that we can maintain the trust of our amazing donors in our shared effort to open new doors for underrepresented and underserved students across the country.

Thank you for helping us reach this point with your continued support for EOS. If you wish to donate today, you can do so here.
