Eric M. Weaver

Interim Chief Executive Officer

Eric Weaver is a 15-year veteran of the non-profit and professional trade association management industry. He is a dynamic and results-oriented executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in both Fortune 100 companies and mission-driven non-profits.

Eric currently serves as Board Chair and Interim President and CEO of Equal Opportunity Schools.  Eric’s focus is leading our staff to transform strategy into organizational action and accomplishments. His expertise in forming strategic partnerships has resulted in a substantial increase in resource allocation and program funding.

Previously, as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), Eric played a pivotal role in restructuring HR functions and enhancing diversity within the biotech industry.  Prior to BIO, Eric served as Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at the Universities Space Research Association (USRA), where he led all HR priorities to support NASA missions.

An attorney by training, Eric holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Howard University.
