My motivation is to help make it possible for any child to excel academically through access to resources. Being engaged and challenged at school is important because it helps children realize their potential. Being able to realize your potential is a huge factor in believing in a greater vision for your future as a child.
When I was growing up, I didn’t have the same support as many of the other children I knew. As a first–generation immigrant and as someone who’s parents didn’t speak much English, I had to figure things out for myself. I learned to navigate the options that were available to me with little support or guidance and became the first person in my family to graduate college. This is why the EOS mission is so important to me, I want to help children get the support they need.
