Rachel comes to Equal Opportunity Schools with more than 15 years of experience in administrative and program management roles within the non-profit sector. At World Relief in Seattle and Baltimore, Rachel supported the organization’s resettlement efforts in various capacities including casework, volunteer management, and administering a grant-funded employment program for Seattle and 11 other affiliates. Rachel also served as the Community Programs Coordinator at LifeCenter Northwest, the organ and tissue donation organization for the greater northwest region, and as the Administrative Assistant at The Lemelson Foundation, Portland State University’s Early Childhood Training Center, and Juetten Personal Financial Planning.
Rachel has a deep commitment to support people and organizations that work to identify and alleviate causes of inequality and is honored to join EOS in their efforts to create equitable educational opportunities for all students.
Rachel spends her free time reading a good book and enjoying movie and game nights with my family. She also currently serves on World Relief Seattle’s Advisory Committee.
