While teaching, she introduced her students to TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) through comprehensive introductory Spanish curriculum, and design-thinking through school-wide experiential learning opportunities. Previously, she served as the undergraduate Executive Director of a service organization bringing arts education to hundreds of students in the Cambridge, MA area. She also worked on teacher training resources in the Chicago Public Schools’ Office of Performance, and at SGA Youth & Family Services in Chicago in non-profit development.
