After finishing graduate school Jim pursued an actuarial career. As an actuary, he recognized companies could increase the return on their data investments by managing data as a corporate asset. By assuming various technology leadership roles, Jim continues to assist companies in maximizing the return on their data assets.
EOS’s team of data scientists produces invaluable information enabling EOS’s pursuit of equity in educational opportunities. Jim is looking forward to learning from this group and doing his part to helping EOS achieve its mission.
When Jim isn’t hard at work administering databases, Jim is an avid dog lover. Jim is on the board and treasurer of a local dog club who supports 4-H clubs, dog rescue, and provides financial support to a variety of dog charities including Guide Dogs for the Blind and WSU Veterinary School. Jim enjoys training and competing in a variety of events with his own dogs.
