As a Business Analyst on the Data Science team, Drew conducts analytics that allow EOS staff and our school partners to assess access and equity gaps for low-income students and students of color, and to evaluate progress toward addressing these challenges. To his work at EOS, Drew brings a strong interest in and aptitude for developing evidence-informed solutions for achieving greater educational and economic opportunities for marginalized groups.
Immediately prior to joining the EOS team, Drew completed a graduate program at the University of Wisconsin. While in school, he worked as a Data Analysis and Policy Fellow at Education Analytics, a nonprofit that helps school districts develop and implement analytics to improve student learning. In his role, Drew managed student data, conducted analyses, and communicated results to partners in actionable ways.
Before beginning graduate school, Drew worked as an education research assistant at MDRC, a non-profit policy research organization. He is also an alumnus of the AmeriCorps VISTA program, having served at a housing assistance organization in Corvallis, Oregon.
In addition to a Master of Public Affairs degree from the University of Wisconsin, Drew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
