After Graduating from The Red McCombs School of Business with a Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin, Tosh went to work as an IT consultant for IBM in Washington DC. His desire to pursue passion over profit led him to apply for the Teach For America Corps in 2009. He was accepted to teach high school math in rural Mississippi. Tosh, spent the next decade working in education as a teacher, department chair, instructional coach, and district-level human assets director. His life experiences growing up in a socioeconomically challenged area of Beaumont, TX, and all of his professional stops along the way have shaped his journey and informed his work.
Tosh joined EOS after working to combat inequities in his most recent professional stop as a teacher and department chair in Round Rock, TX. The idea of working with like-minded professionals in school systems committed to providing equitable access for all students was too good to pass up. Since joining EOS, he has been able to use his life and professional experience to help his partners move the work forward on their campus.
Tosh enjoys spending time with his two sons Jacob and Zander, and his wife, Alexis. He also spends time playing video games (Xbox and Playstation), all things sports, both playing and spectating in addition to music.
