Kirstin is thrilled to be working with dedicated school leaders around the country to make positive change in the systems that distribute educational access and opportunity. She is deeply committed to equity in education for students of color and low-income students.
Before coming to EOS, Kirstin worked at the Neighborhood House Youth Tutoring Center in an unincorporated area of Seattle. There, she planned and facilitated curriculum for predominantly immigrant students, with the goal of supporting them in their development as community leaders. In prior roles, she has coordinated preschool math and elementary creative writing programs in underserved communities, assisted in AVID programming, and led outdoor science exploration classes.
