Partnership Director
Ed began his teaching career in 1987 at Wilmington Junior High School in Wilmington, California, after graduating from Cal State Dominguez Hills with a degree in English Literature. Towards this goal, he spent several years as a member of Creating Equitable Bay Area Schools, a group of educational administrators dedicated to identifying and tearing down barriers and systems of exclusion in Bay Area school districts.
Ed is extremely excited to join EOS as a Partnership Director. While he has had as his focus during his whole career ensuring that ALL students succeed and have the opportunity and access necessary to be successful in college and career, working with EOS will allow him to finally focus full-time on his passion. He is also looking forward to working with a team of people who are equally committed to and passionate about equity.
Ed has lived in Irvine, California, for the past ten years, after spending 20 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has a wonderful wife and two amazing sons. He loves to travel and play almost any sport, but his current favorites are pickleball and golf.
