Director of Client Relations, Partnership Development
Azizi brings her passion and leadership to EOS, with a drive to give our partners the best experience possible. Her experiences as a collegiate athlete, nonprofit program manager and working the past 5 years in business development allows her to bring a blend of work ethic, advocacy, and growth mindset to our work here.
Azizi knew since she was 13 that she wanted to be a criminal defense lawyer. Having family and friends go through the system with insufficient representation and be victimized by sentence imbalances her passion for advocacy and fighting for the disenfranchised has personal ties and runs deep. She headed to college dead set on becoming a criminal defense lawyer, graduating from CSU East Bay with her BA in Political Science she soon found that she wanted to help people long before they needed a lawyer. This led to Azizi becoming a program manager of an educational nonprofit in Oakland, Ca focusing on struggling middle schoolers and eventually her heading back to school to earn her Master’s in Public Administration from Ashford University.
Azizi is excited to join the EOS team and continue the work of advocating for our students, she states, “I see it as I’ve graduated along with my middle schoolers, and now we are working to open doors for them in high schools!”, this work continues to be personal for her. Along the way Azizi also worked in sales support, market and business development and will bring her operations expertise and drive for diversity, equity, and inclusion to the team.
Outside of work you can find Azizi spending time with her family, traveling, shopping, enjoying a good book or volunteering with her church community.
