What Does Equitable ACCESS to a Quality Education Look Like?

During this live radio broadcast Dr. Sonya Whitaker converses with Dr. Nicholas Wahl, Regional Director, Partnership Development for Equal Opportunity Schools. This organization recognizes the fact that at least three-quarters of a million incoming junior and sensors are ready to be enrolled in rigorous academic programs, but do not have equitable access to these courses. These students are disproportionately students of color and low-income students. Equal Opportunity Schools helps to identify and remove barriers to equitable access.

During this broadcast Dr. Wahl will provide information specific to his background as well as what his organization does to address your district’s equity initiatives relevant to ensuring that all students obtain access to intellectually stimulating academic experiences.
