Earlier this year the school said it had qualified for a competitive national program to enhance Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs for high school students. It’s called the Lead Higher Initiative, a program spearheaded by the nonprofit Equal Opportunity Schools, in partnership with International Baccalaureate and the College Board, and in support of the My Brother’s Keeper Initiative by former President Barack Obama.
