Julie Jessica Meek is an experienced leader that has spent 20 years in public education. She is currently an administrator at the high school level in New Port Richey, Florida, as well as an adjunct professor. Jessica has a strong background in organizational leadership, program development, and program restructuring. She is fiercely committed to providing opportunities for all students! One of her proudest accomplishments is the partnership with Equal Opportunity Schools, as it allows her dedication to be even more focused.
Jessica earned her both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree at the University of South Florida. She and her school have been recognized by Gallup, Inc. for improving organizational culture through collaborative relationships with students, staff and community stakeholders. She has been recognized for her breadth of experience in developing and marketing five new Career and Technical Education Academies. She has also been recognized by the state of Florida for increasing industry certification programs by 44%. Jessica also has extensive experience in staffing, training and strategic planning that have significantly decreased staff turnover, increased employee engagement and establish an atmosphere of collaboration and trust.
