HELP EOS PUT MORE STUDENTS ON THE PATH TO SUCCESS
Every year, there are nearly one million students who are ready to be in advanced high school courses but are not getting the opportunity. Statistically, Black, Latino, and low-income students are less likely than their peers to be invited by educators to participate in advanced courses (AP/IB programs).
Here’s the reality: enrollment in advanced high school courses is one of the leading factors in college admissions because it’s a clear indicator of college and career success.
That’s where Equal Opportunity Schools (EOS) comes in. Since 2013, EOS has partnered with more than 800 schools in 250 districts across 33 states to provide them with the tools and support they need to close opportunity gaps. Because of EOS, schools nationwide have enrolled more than 52,770 students in advanced courses who would’ve otherwise been shut out.
