More D204 low-income, minority students taking AP classes thanks to push

Nearly 275 more juniors and seniors in Indian Prairie School District’s three high schools are signed up for AP classes next year following a push to encourage participation by more college-bound minority students. For the past year, District 204 has been working with Equal Opportunity Schools to ensure all college-bound juniors and seniors – no matter their race or income level – have the opportunity to succeed in challenging a high school courses, such as an Advanced Placement class.
